Ana Canela Robles is a fully qualified, traditional acupuncturist.
Originally from Barcelona, in Spain, Ana came to the UK in 1998. Initially, Ana worked in the airline industry, travelling extensively and eventually becoming an Aviation Medicine Procedures trainer and examiner. However, a realisation that her true calling lay in Oriental Medicine led her to studying at the Acupuncture Academy in Leamington.
There she completed the three-year degree qualification accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board and was awarded a Distinction in the Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture. She was also Commended for her clinical skills.

Ana’s training was extensive and covered all aspects of Chinese medical and acupuncture theory, with a focus on the Five Element approach. This means that she will consider your main health problem and any symptoms you are currently experiencing, together with a holistic approach to you as an individual. Treatment will aim at targeting the root cause, not just your symptoms. Ana may also give you simple lifestyle and/or nutrition advice based on Chinese Medicine principles if appropriate.
Last of all, but maybe most importantly, Ana is passionate about what she does and always keeps up to date. Since graduating, she has completed numerous post-graduate courses on Korean Hand Therapy, MSK (Musculo-skeletal) issues and auricular acupuncture to name a few. Ana feels that there is no greater satisfaction than seeing someone feel better so she wants to ensure she is the best she can be when you come to clinic.
